Kids Discos 2024
Harbord P&C Student Discos Are Back!
Harbord P&C are excited to offer all current Harbord Students the opportunity to attend a Disco for their year group.
Please buy your ticket NOW to avoid any disappointment.
*YOU MUST BUY A TICKET FOR YOUR CHILD TO ATTEND!* This is for safety, regulatory and insurance reasons, in addition to catering and administration. Thank you for your understanding :)
- One hour of high energy party-style fun with all your mates - your child does not want to miss this!
- Sessions are limited to your year group and sign in/out will be organised by class, by the NAME of your child. Tickets are not transferrable between children.
- Please do not buy a ticket for the wrong session since the lists are used as attendance & child safety registers
- We are sorry if your child can't attend the allocated time slot, unfortunately with 900 children we will never be able to suit everyone!
- Tickets are just $5 and include, games, prizes and a party snack.
- Please BYO drink bottle but leave your bag at home if you're not attending a session straight from school or OOSH.
- OOSH children will be checked in and out by OOSH staff unless in the final session when OOSH will have closed by the time it finishes and parents must collect from the hall.
Kindy and Year 1 children will be escorted straight from their classroom to the hall - parents should not pick up their Kindy or Yr1 child if attending the disco, until the end of the disco at 4:15pm.
ALL CHILDREN (ANY YEAR) MUST BE COLLECTED BY A PARENT OR OFFICIAL CARER & SIGNED OUT - we are sorry but children will not be permitted to walk home or go to Kiss and Drop area, they must be signed out (similar to OOSH procedure) to ensure safety obligations are met.
DROP OFF - in main playground
- Years 2-6 must be dropped off and signed in by a parent or carer at the canteen side of the Hall.
- Please find your child's Class in order to sign them in
- All children will be given a wristband for their session
PICK UP - Wyadra Ave side of the Hall (not playground)
- All children must be picked up by a parent or carer
- The Wyadra Ave doors to the hall will be opened and we will ask you to go to your child's class group inside the hall to sign your child out
- Last year some parents collected their child before the end of the session which caused problems! If you have to do this please mark on the ticket booking and come to the main door on Wyadra NOT the playground entry. Thank you for your help with this!
IMPORTANT
There are likely to be 100s of children on site in the care of parent volunteers, so we ask collecting parents to please keep to the road side of the hall, away from incoming group of the next session. All children must be signed out to ensure the safety of every student. Thank you for your help.
Some teaching staff will be in attendance however this is a parent organised P&C event and parent volunteers from each class will be taking care of the children.
No abuse, disrespect or rudeness to volunteers and organisers will be tolerated. If you would like your child to attend please buy a ticket and follow the process outlined - it is not the P&Cs fault if you do not buy a ticket for your child! Thank you again for your understanding and Support.
